What does a hyaluronic acid injection treatment involve?
Before deciding on a hyaluronic acid injection treatment, the patient has a consultation with a specialist.
Immediately before the treatment, the doctor applies an anaesthetic cream to the area to be treated. Using a fine needle, the specialist injects small amounts of hyaluronic acid.
The treatment takes about 10-30 minutes (depending on the size of the area). Immediately after the treatment, skin redness, swelling and bruising may occur, which is completely normal.

Why hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance responsible for binding water molecules and maintaining an optimal level of skin hydration.
Together with collagen and elastin, it is responsible for the elasticity, firmness and suppleness of the complexion. In aesthetic medicine it is used as a so-called filler, which helps improve the structure of the skin and shape the facial contour. It is a way of addressing visible signs of skin ageing.

- People taking anti-inflammatory and blood-thinning medicines should stop them 3 days before the treatment. This decision should be discussed with a doctor
- Do not take aspirin or products containing large amounts of vitamin C.
- Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours before the planned treatment.
Immediately before the treatment there is a consultation, which makes it possible to determine what results will be achieved after the injections. In addition, during the conversation the specialist will be able to obtain information about your individual sensitivity to pain.
Do you know how to extend the effect of the treatment?
Fillers give an immediate effect, but they look best on skin of good density. If your skin is lax, it is worth strengthening its structure (the "scaffolding") before the acid is administered. We recommend a course of microneedle radiofrequency treatments, which will contract the collagen fibres and thicken the tissue. As a result, the filling effect will be more natural and the acid will stay in place much better.
