COURSE OF THE TREATMENT:
STAGE I – NIR (Near Infrared) THERMOLIFTING – Alma Harmony XL Pro Special Edition
The treatment begins with the use of an NIR handpiece emitting light in the near infrared range (approximately 1300 nm). The light energy penetrates the deep layers of the dermis, selectively heating the tissues to a temperature of 39–42°C. This process leads to immediate contraction of collagen fibres and stimulates fibroblasts to synthesise new type I and type III collagen.
The thermal effect is achieved in a controlled manner, which ensures the safety of the treatment and minimises the risk of overheating the epidermis. After thermolifting, the skin is noticeably tighter, more elastic and firmer.
STAGE II – MICRONEEDLE RADIOFREQUENCY
Once thermolifting is complete, the microneedle radiofrequency procedure follows. The treatment involves fractional puncturing of the skin with microneedles of adjustable depth (0.5–3.5 mm) while simultaneously heating the tissues with radio waves at RF frequency (0.5–2 MHz).
The aim of microneedle radiofrequency is to cause controlled micro-injury to the skin combined with a thermal effect, which leads to intensive collagen remodelling as well as neocollagenesis and neoelastogenesis. The regenerative process takes place over several weeks after the treatment, gradually improving skin tension, density and texture.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Active bacterial, viral or fungal infections of the skin in the treatment area
- Tendency to form keloids
- Autoimmune skin diseases (e.g. lupus erythematosus, scleroderma)
- Cancer (including a history of cancer within the past 5 years)
- Epilepsy
- Active cold sores (herpes simplex)
- Metal or electronic implants (e.g. a pacemaker) in the treatment area
- Blood clotting disorders and use of anticoagulants (blood thinners)
- A fresh tan and use of self-tanning products
- Irritated or damaged skin, or skin with open wounds

Why is NIR combined with microneedle RF?
NIR works at superficial and medium depth: it heats collagen fibres, causing them to contract and tightening the skin.
Microneedle RF works deeper: micropunctures + radiofrequency energy stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin.
Combining these technologies gives a lifting effect + skin remodelling on many levels.
