It often happens that despite a healthy diet and regular training, certain parts of the body do not want to cooperate. We hear it all the time: "I lost weight, I exercise, but the skin on my belly is still hanging," or "After pregnancy, my figure has returned to normal, but my belly looks like a wrinkled map."
It's a frustrating feeling when your body can't keep up with your efforts. Unfortunately, the skin has a limited ability to shrink - especially after sudden weight changes, pregnancy or simply with age. Collagen fibres stretch, and no cream, even the best ones, can "sew" them back together. Cosmetics only affect the epidermis, and the problem lies much deeper.
It is in such cases, where the role of a personal trainer ends and the role of a surgeon does not yet begin, that microneedling radiofrequency comes into play. This is a technology that can force the skin to do the impossible - to shrink significantly and regenerate in places that seemed "lost".

microneedling radiofrequency for the abdomen - skin shrinkage after pregnancy
The skin on the belly is more different from the skin on the face than you might think. It is thicker and its support fibres (collagen and elastin) have a different arrangement. During pregnancy, this tissue undergoes an extreme test of strength - sometimes it stretches by 50% of its surface. After giving birth, there is often no strength to return to its original shape, creating the so-called "loose fold" or crepe-like skin.
How does D-Frax technology work here? To work on such thick skin, we have to go deeper. The treatment parameters for the abdomen are much higher than for the face - the needles penetrate deeply (up to 3.5-4 mm) and the radio wave energy is stronger. A two-step process then happens:
- Immediate: Under the influence of temperature, stretched collagen fibres shrink (thermolifting effect).
- Long-term: Micro-damage stimulates the body to produce completely new tissue, which "thickens" loose skin, making it more compact and tight to the muscles.
What to realistically expect? The procedure will not replace a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) in cases of massive excess skin, but it can reduce sagging by 30-50%, which for many women means returning to a two-piece swimsuit.
Stretch mark removal - does it work on old (white) scars?
Stretch marks are nothing more than scars formed inside the skin as a result of its tearing. For years, there was a belief that while fresh (red) stretch marks can be fought, old ones (white, pearly) are irremovable. It's a myth.
White stretch marks are difficult to remove because they are "dormant" and fibrous tissues. They have no blood vessels or active metabolism. Ordinary cosmetic procedures simply "bounce" away from them.
microneedling radiofrequency "wakes up" stretch marks The D-Frax device works as a precise stimulator. We physically puncture the tough scar tissue and the thermal energy forces it to remodel.
- Fresh stretch marks (red): They are the easiest to remove, the reduction reaches up to 80%.
- Old stretch marks (white): They require more patience, but the effects are very good - the stretch marks become narrower, shallower and change their colour to a colour more similar to the surrounding skin. They cease to be convex or concave to the touch.
It's worth knowing: In our clinic in Wrocław, we often combine stretch mark therapy with supportive treatments, such as platelet-rich plasma to provide the skin with "fuel" for even faster regeneration.
Eyes and eyelids - lifting without a scalpel
The skin around the eyes is only 0.5 mm thick. This is where wrinkles and sagging (drooping eyelids) appear most quickly, which makes the face look tired. Many patients are afraid of treatments in this area and ask about visual safety.
microneedling radiofrequency is one of the few treatments that we can safely use up to the eyelash line (of course, while maintaining safety procedures and using appropriately lower parameters).
Who is this treatment for?
- For people with "heavy", slightly drooping upper eyelids (an alternative to blepharoplasty in the early stages).
- On the so-called "crow's feet" and a network of wrinkles under the eyes.
- For bags under the eyes (thickening of the skin makes fatty hernias less visible).
If you are planning comprehensive rejuvenation, it is best to combine an eye treatment with a full facial procedure. Check the details in our offer: Facial microneedling radiofrequency
Neck and décolletage - forgotten zones
We often take care of our face, forgetting that the neck and décolletage age equally quickly and reveal age mercilessly. The problem here are horizontal wrinkles (the so-called "Venus rings") and vertical creases on the neckline from sleeping on the side.
The skin in these places is thin and has few sebaceous glands, so it regenerates poorly. RF microneedle is irreplaceable here because it thickens the dermis. Effect? The neck becomes tighter and the neckline becomes smoother and less prone to creasing.
Does body treatments hurt more?
This is a natural question. If the parameters for the abdomen or thighs are higher (longer needles, more energy), does the procedure hurt more? Paradoxically - not necessarily.
The skin on the body (abdomen, thighs, buttocks) has significantly fewer nerve endings per square centimeter than the sensitive skin of the face. Most patients rate the abdominal treatment as completely bearable, describing the sensations as "intense heat" or "scratching". Of course, we always use a strong local anaesthetic cream, which we apply about an hour before the procedure to ensure complete comfort.
FAQ - Frequently asked questions about body treatments
microneedling radiofrequency for the abdomen - how many treatments do I need? The skin on the body is thicker and regenerates slightly slower than on the face. Therefore, in the case of the abdomen, we usually recommend a series of 4-6 treatments. The intervals between visits should be approximately 6 weeks.
microneedling radiofrequency for scars - what effects can you expect? Scars (e.g. after caesarean section or surgery) are flattened, softened and brightened. They become much less visible and more flexible. Full reconstruction of the scar is a process that lasts several months after the end of the series.
Will the treatment remove stretch marks 100%? Let's be honest - no technology will remove old stretch marks as if they were never there (you can't "erase" a scar with an eraser). However, D-Frax allows you to reduce their visibility by 50-80%. They become narrower, shallower and take on a colour similar to that of healthy skin, making them less noticeable.
Can the abdomen and face treatment be performed in one visit? Yes, this is a very common practice at MM Clinic. Performing a combined treatment (Body & Face) saves time, and recovery runs in parallel.
